Abstract Submission

I.    Papers (abstracts) may be written in Chinese or English. Prospective contributors should prepare the. following documents and send the electronic files by 25th April, 2022 (Monday) to the e-mail address: ibcms10th@gmail.com (subject heading: "Public Museology: The Imagination and Practice of Publicness, Newness and Methodology" Paper Abstract).

2. Paper Abstract: There will be Chinese and English sessions respectively. Chinese sessions will have. commentators. Chinese abstracts should be approximately 500 characters in length. English abstracts should be approximately 300 words in length. Poster abstracts should be approximately 650 words in length.
Please send the electronic files in Microsoft Word. Once you receive an e-mail response from the. conference, you have completed the application process. If you do not receive a response, please email us again for confirmation or call us if necessary.

II.   Evaluation and Paper Submission:
The preparatory committee will assign expert scholars to conduct evaluation of abstracts. Results of. evaluation will be announced on the website of 10th International Biennial Conference of Museum Studies(https://ibcms.tnua.edu.tw/2022/index.html)on June 6th, 2022 (Monday), and those who have submitted abstracts will be notified of the results by e-mail.
Reminders of Poster Presentation: The presenters don’t have to submit complete text of their papers. Only horizontal A0 (118x84cm) size poster is required to be printed, and send it to the Conference before Oct.17th. III.  Publication of the Complete Text of Papers:
For those whose abstracts have been approved and wish to submit to the “Public Museology: The. Imagination and Practice of Publicness, Newness and Methodology” Conference Proceeding, please submit the electronic file of the complete text of their papers by January 31st, 2023 (Tuesday). Such complete text may not have been published and the responsibility is of the author solely. No additional fees will be provided by the conference. Papers written in Chinese should be less than 20,000 characters in length and papers written in English should be between 8,000 and 10,000 words in length. The submitted papers that have passed peer reviews of two anonymous reviewers will be included in the “Public Museology: The Imagination and Practice of Publicness, Newness and Methodology” Conference Proceeding, published by National Taiwan Museum. Papers should be written in the style adopted by Journal of The National Taiwan Museum.

IV.  The conference expects to enlist approximately 30 to 40 papers and 12 to 18 posters of practice. sharing. Application and registration for this conference are free.

V.   The conference will provide refreshments and lunch for presenters.
